• About Me

Everyone loves an excellent story. The genre of the story doesn't matter, as long as the story is told well. My favorite stories come from the world of sports.

Sports have always been a part of my life. I played football, basketball and baseball I couldn't anymore.

Sports were absent in my first year at Pacific Lutheran University. Rather than creating my own sports stories to tell others, I began telling others sports stories.

I worked in the sports information office of PLU, writing for every athletic team on campus. I created a sports talk radio show that would go on to become the most listened to of its kind in the University's history.

Soon, my work was not limited to Pacific Lutheran University. I served as a Sports Clerk at the Tacoma News Tribune. I put together print and video stories from local high school student-athletes and teams, showcasing their talents and abilities.

My portfolio continued to grow, this time as the voice of high school athletics on 1180AM KLAY Radio during the 2017-2018 school year.

    Mentally, I am an athlete.

Physically, I am just a guy.

My name is Christian Bond. Although I'm only a half athlete, I am an excellent storyteller.
